Hi, I’m Janelle Dextradeur, LMHC, a licensed mental health counselor in Massachusetts and the founder of Beacon Path Counseling. I believe that even during life’s most overwhelming seasons, there is a way forward. You do not have to find it alone.

 My educational background includes an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts Psychology, a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts Psychology, and a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling. I am also a member of Psi Chi.  Over the past nine years, I have worked in outpatient behavioral health and addiction programs, correctional facilities, in-home therapy, and substance use treatment settings. These experiences have shaped my steady and compassionate approach to helping people navigate complex challenges with clarity and confidence.

I provide services for addiction and substance use, anxiety, depression, maternal mental health concerns, self-esteem challenges, and relationship issues. My approach is solution-focused, client-centered, and evidence-informed. Together, we will identify what feels stuck, build on your strengths, and create a meaningful path forward.

My goal is to provide a calm and supportive space where you feel understood and empowered. A place where growth feels possible and peace feels attainable.
